President
Paul is the president and chief
technologist for TeamScope and is responsible for the software
development and product management areas.
Paul pioneered the early use of Visual Basic
and Access on microcomputers, replacing solutions previously
implemented on mainframe systems.
In 1995, Paul was hired by Nestle USA as
manager for its U.S. e-mail system. In that capacity he
successfully migrated the company's 9,000 client workstations from
Microsoft Mail to Exchange, and worked with other international
Nestle subsidiaries to build one of the largest implementations of
Exchange (90,000 seats) world-wide. Paul then spearheaded the use
of Outlook and Exchange as a platform for corporate collaboration
solutions. At Comdex 1997, Paul received a Visionary award from
Microsofts Steve Ballmer for his work
in business automation and groupware solutions.
Paul began working with Phil Seeman in 1998 to
develop enterprise-level business solutions on the Outlook
application platform. After evaluating various existing workflow
and groupware products for Outlook, the two decided to create an
entirely new system to support the growing application needs of
this platform. The success of the newly developed product led to
their official partnership as TeamScope in 1999.
Paul received a Master of Science degree in
Engineering from California State University, Northridge and a
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from
California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Currently a resident of Valencia, California,
Paul can be found hiking in the mountains or flying his paraglider
when time permits.
